Lots A Limits Charters And Guide Service is giving you the chance to explore the world famous Salmon River for yourself. One of the most prestigious sport fishing destinations in New York, this is an area you want to fish with an expert guide. Get the most out of your day on the water - join Captain Tim and find out what makes this tributary of Lake Ontario so special.
Your trip will take place aboard Captain Tim’s 17 ft Fishcraft driftboat that effortlessly navigates the waters of this river. Deftly taking you to the biggest Salmon and Rainbow Trout hotspots, this vessel will show you that small boats and big fish are a match made in heaven. Get comfortable, find a friend to fish with, and set out upstream to intercept some huge fish on their annual migration.
Fishing in these waters is unforgettable in Spring and Fall. Take a trip in September and October, and you will be on the trail of lively Coho and tackle-busting Chinook Salmon. Come in November, December, and April, and your target will be Steelhead, a beautiful fish that is one of the most rewarding species you can catch. Target these fish on light tackle or fly fishing equipment, depending on your preferences.
Fishing Salmon River is an experience you will never forget. Let Lots A Limits Charters And Guides show you just how good it can be.

Salmon River Trip - Drift Boat
Reserved an 8 hr drift boat trip. Ended up paying $200 extra for a lake down-rigger charter and only 6 instead of 8 hr. Called and talked to The Cpt. Even before driving the 6 hrs. Changed our reservations to his lodge. When we showed up he had no idea who we were or that we had a trip and rooms reserved. I had even given my credit card number. The Cpt gave us some rooms, let us use a old broken grill and rusted out fire pit but we made it work. Next morning we went on their second boat with another CPT and 1st Mate. They worked hard to get us in the fish and we all went home with one. Overall experience was good, not what we planned but it all worked out. Now that we know the deal, we may be back in November for the Steel head run.
