Pebsworth The Trip Fishing Guide invites you on a fishing adventure in the abundant waters of Rockport, Texas. This area is brimming with fish waiting to bite your hook day or night, and they are available year-round, too. Captain John will ensure you have a good time aboard his boat and work hard put you on your target as fast as possible.
You will go out on a 22’ Majek center console originally built in 2015. Being powered by a 225 HP Yamaha SHOW engine. With a maximum cruising speed of 52 knots, this boat is super fast and slices through anything. This vessel is equipped with all the USCG approved safety equipment such as life jackets and a CPR-trained crew. There is also all the electronics like a GPS and a fishfinder needed to locate the schooling fish.
Pebsworth The Trip Fishing Guide can take you fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Black Drum, and Flounder. Captain John will take you to the best inshore and flats waters around Rockport where you can utilize a number of fishing techniques. From light tackle and popping, to drift fishing and even Flounder gigging - a special way to catch Flounder using long poles to catch this super tasty fish.
Pebsworth The Trip Fishing Guide will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, bait, drinks, and even cleaning and filleting of the catch. You only need to make sure to get your own valid Texas fishing license, and you’ll be ready to meet Captain John on the water.

Capt John was great. Day started out slow but he made sure we caught fish. We ended with 5 nice sized Reds and a really nice Trout. My husband lost his hat when the wind took it and he even took us to retrieve it. Would definitely book again with Capt John.
