Saltwater Inshore Flats Fishing Trips Orlando
If you are in or visiting the Orlando and Disney World area, great fishing is available year round. Choose from technical sight fishing trips with light tackle or fly or easy catching trips for anglers with limited experience in the salt.
Sight fishing trips are for the anglers who want to experience the excitement of casting to big fish you can see in shallow water. Capt. Chris will push the boat across the flats and point out targets for the angler(s) on the bow. Catching success for this type of fishing is usually directly related to casting skill. Target redfish, drum and seatrout year round with seasonal shots at tarpon and snook
Fly fishing trips for redfish, trout, and tarpon are offered as well. Capt. Chris is a IFFF certified fly casting instructor. Top quality fly fishing equipment from Sage and Hardy is provided or you can bring your own. Anglers should have at least basic casting skills as our fish usually require quick accurate casts of 30-60ft with a 7wt rod.
The Live Bait Trip is for fishing with kids, people with little or no experience, or during high wind conditions, we can fish the extreme backcountry of northern Mosquito Lagoon fishing the protected cuts and channels. Using small shrimp as bait, action is steady and consistent and yields a wide variety of species from redfish and trout to sharks, jacks, bluefish, flounder, pompano, whiting, ladyfish, and snapper. These are NOT redfish and trout trips
In addition to the fishing, you can see a wide variety of wildlife as well from manatee and dolphins to turtles, stingrays and birds. See these animals closeup in their natural environment.
There is a trip for anglers of all skill levels and for varying weather conditions. You can expect to step onto a clean and well maintained boat with top quality rods and reels with a captain with almost 20 years experience guiding these waters.
All trips are catch and release only.

My wife and I had the perfect day catching several different kinds of fish including a beautiful Red Drum! Captain Chris was great! Would definitely book again!

It was a pleasure having you both on board. I look forward to doing it again sometime

Captain Chris was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This type of sightfishing requires precision casting, which I lack. Chris took us all over the place in search of fish. I would totally recommend booking with Captain Chris Myers, but I would suggest bait fishing, unless you’re able to place your lure exactly where it needs to be.
I have been fishing the Mosquito Lagoon for over 25 years. I have been fly fishing for over 20 and have been a certified fly casting instructor for 10 years.
