The fish weren’t biting ( 3 keeper stripers and no halibut) but the captain moved us to numerous spots trying to put us on the fish. Water conditions weren’t great for fishing but a beautiful day on the bay and had a great time.

I started fishing at the early age of 6 on my grandfather six-pack boat for Salmon, Striped Bass, and Rockfish in San Francisco Bay's outside ocean on the Marin coast. I loved to go fishing with my grandfather and helping him with the boat. I got my captain license in 1992 and worked in Halfmoon Bay for different charter boat companies running the Huli Cat Capt. Jon Blue Horizon Princton Special, then worked out of Emeryville on the Capt. Hook. I also lived in a Alaska for 8 years, worked for charter boat services in Sitka and Ninilchick fishing for Halibut, Salmon, Rockfish, and Lingcod.
