Laguna Mare Guide Service offers exciting adventures on the waters of the laguna Madre in South Padre Island, Texas. The company is run and operated by Captain Zach, a professional guide, who is passionate about everything outdoors. Join him on his day out for a fun and productive experience. Like everybody says, it’s a lot better to be on the bay than in the office!

Zach will take you out aboard his 26’ Shallow Sport X3, which is a stable and well-maintained boat. It comes powered by a 300-HP 4-stroke engine and is prepared for the current bite. The vessel provides comfortable fishing space for up to six anglers and is rigged with modern navigational electronics and safety equipment. There is a multimedia system, an ice-box for the catch, and a live well that can be loaded with bait.

Whether you want to fish the waters of the Laguna Madre, or out in the Gulf of Mexico, Captain Zach will work hard to help you make a memorable day on the water. The trips are from four to eight hours on the water. Choose the trip that suits you best, take your family and friends, and get ready for some rod-bending action. Your main targeted species will include Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, and Flounder.

Captain Zach is great with kids so feel free to bring your child with you. After all, there’s nothing better than seeing a child’s smile when they land their first-ever fish!

All trips come with quality rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Live bait can also be used for an extra fee. You will need to purchase a license before the trip. When you return to the shore, your catch will be cleaned and filleted. You can feel free to bring your own drinks and food with you.
