Welcome aboard the best party boat in Key West, Florida! These waters are abundant with delicious fish species you will be able to target with the Salty Goat Fishing Charters crew. They will teach you anything you need to know about fishing and ensure you are having a great day on the water.
The Salty Goat is a 50’ Markley commercial USCG-inspected vessel built in 1994 and restored in 2017. It is powered by a turbo-diesel 400 HP Cummins engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 17 knots which means you will get to the reef quickly and make the most of your fishing trip.
The vessel is fitted with the latest safety equipment such as life jackets, EPIRB, and a CPR-trained crew, as well as a GPS and a fishfinder. It’s rated to carry over 30 passengers comfortably. Please note, that all trips are shared public trips.
The captain will take you fishing on the reef, around Key West and put you on Mutton, Yellowtail, and Mangrove Snapper, as well as Black, Gag, Red Grouper, and Amberjack. You will target the fish using light tackle, bottom fishing, and flat-lining techniques.
The professional crew will be happy to bait your hook, reel in your fish, and put it on ice unless you want to release it. Once the trip is over, you can have your catch cleaned, filleted, and bagged. The crew can recommend a local restaurant where you can have your fish cooked for a great end of the day!

Our familys start to our Vacation
let me just say my big family of 9 had such a great time with the captain and crew. not only did one of my girls win the fishing contest. she slayed 2 big grouper. all the kids had a great time. staff was amazing and helpful. bait buckets kept full and of course with snags on coral, they came to quickly get their them back out fishing. overall would recommend to anyone visiting. we did a 5 hour trip and they cleaned and bagged our catch and let the kids feed the tarpon by the docks. great job salty Goat crew and wishing many more blessings your way.

Fun family fishing
Easy to book the trip, reasonably priced. Crew did help with baiting and taking off fish as needed. Boat can hold up to 26, so glad that we only had 12.Gave us more room to move around. I do believe that 26 would be too many and not allow ease of movement.Caught several grouper but unable to keep since not in season. Wish we knew prior to trip. Mostly lane fish caught with the exception of one porgy one mutton and a small shark.Overall a fun experience for my 3 grandsons first time saltwater fishing.Bring your own small rag to make it easier to grasp fish.

I would do this every day if I lived in key west, I can truly say this charter skips the bs and does everything to give you a great time, the weather screwed us but the crew still did everything to make the best of it, I would book this 1000000% before I went on the trip, after the trip it just upped to 200000000%

Great service, helpful crew!
The crew was helpful and attentive. Everyone of our griup caught something! Only thing was parking was a little confusing. Ended up paying $10 per hour parking.
