Charters Aruba invites you to join them on their brand new boat Carla and experience the thrill of deep sea fishing off the coast of Aruba! Join Captain Juan Carlos in search of some of the best game fish in the world. Whether you’re an experienced offshore pro or planning your first deep sea fishing trip, Charters Aruba are the best crew to take you on a half or full day fishing adventure.

The offshore waters of Aruba offer great fishing for Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Kingfish, Amberjack, Barracuda, and more. Using a variety of fishing techniques like bottom fishing, trolling jigging, and drift fishing, you will have the opportunity to target more species and learn at the same time.

The boat is named Carla, and is a 31-foot Bertram sport fisherman fully rigged for big game tournaments. It is a clean and comfortable yacht with an air conditioned interior that includes a toilet and a bed. Together with its excellent equipment and features, and the captain’s fishing and navigating skills, the “Carla” is one of the most successful charter boats for offshore fishing.

Charters Aruba will provide you with everything you need in order to have a successful and memorable trip in Oranjestad. They include top of the range rods, reels, and tackle, lures, snacks, drinks, and a fish cleaning and processing service at the end. If you wish to have your catch cooked professionally for dinner, the crew of Carla will be happy to recommend a local restaurant.

This is the mother of trips! Charters Aruba can take you out to the big blue or remain in calmer waters, you decide. For deep-sea fishing, you’ll head toward the rougher ocean and aim for Barracuda, Tuna and Wahoo along the coast or, move more seaward where Mahi Mahi and Marlin await, depending on the season and weather conditions! Otherwise, you’ll stay inside the calm mangrove inlet waters where Barracuda and other types of fish await those with weaker stomachs! All trips are private.

Did a half day trip with my wife (both with previous fishing experience). Captain was friendly enough, first mate said about 6 words to us in the 4 hours we were on the boat. At one point we had a big Wahoo on and unfortunately it got away. At which point the first mate slammed the fish hook down, slammed the cooler lid shut and then shook his head at us as if we ruined HIS day. Didn’t talk to us for the rest of the day, just proceeded to shake his head at us repeatedly as if we did something wrong. You would think during the 1 hour ride out to the fishing area rather than stare at us saying nothing, he could have offered up some pointers or talked through the “fishing process”, instead there was ZERO direction/instruction all day and just lots of chaos. Also had an equipment failure which they couldn’t fix after a fish broke one of the lines. Caught 4 baracuda, other boats on the same day caught multiple Mahi Mahi and seemed to have much more fun/personable crews. Not so much upset about not catching as many fish, they just didn’t make the day any fun, instead they made us feel like we were a burden to them. My advice is to spend the extra $50 and pick a different boat.
