If you’re a sports fisherman, this trip is great. In our case however, we were hoping to keep a little bit of each of these great catches and were discouraged from doing so because then the captain and crew would not be able to sell the fish. Considering we paid a hefty price to charter the trip, we would think our interests would supersede anyone else’s. Based on this experience, we will never again charter a trip at which we are actually paying to catch fish for the crew.

Being from Las Vegas means that we don’t have an opportunity to get out on the water very often. This was the first time out for the family. We came in on a RC cruise and I picked the PM departure to make sure that we had time to make it. The dock is a 10 minute walk from the cruise port (right by Lucy’s). The guys were friendly and right on time. We had enough action to keep everyone engaged. The crew did a great job taking care of everything. My girls were pretty leery about going, but the whole family had a really good time. Our port departure wasn’t until 11 PM, so no problems making it back to the boat. (We even made it to Eagle Beach and back in the morning to go jet skiing)
