Cartagena Fishing invites you to join them on a memorable offshore fishing trip in Colombia. The crew has over 35 years of fishing experience among themselves and will do their best to get you on the fish and keep you there. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome, and the captain will take care to make sure the trip is tailored to your needs.
The boat is a 38’ Todomar sportfishing vessel that’s powered by twin 250 HP Suzuki engines. There’s plenty of room on the boat for up to seven people to fish in comfort, so why not bring the whole family along for the ride? The boat is equipped with all the necessary gear and electronics needed for a safe and productive trip, letting you focus on the fishing itself.
Colombia is one of the best places to be if you’re at all into big-game fishing. From Mahi Mahi to Cobia, Marlin, and Tuna, these waters are every angler’s dream. There are plenty of bottom feeders like Snapper to find as well if you want to catch something tasty. The crew prefers deep dropping and vertical jigging but will do whatever is needed to help you hook the catch of your dreams.
Rods, reels, and terminal tackle come included in the price of the trip, along with the necessary fishing licenses. There are also drinks to be found aboard, so the only thing that’s really missing is you!

Full Day Trip - Offshore Special
Grear captain and crew.
The crew worked hard to get you on the fish. We dis catch a few fish but we had to work hard for it. Catching fish is not easy but they went well out of there way to make it happen. I know this because Im a commercial fisherman with my own boat.

Full Day Trip - Deep Dropping
Fullday Offshore Rampage
We all woke up little hung over from the night before. The guys took us over to a breakfest spot before depature. That was quite nice. Loaded up drinks and food amd we were off by 8am. Boat handles the ocean like a dream. We were impressed. Trolling early morning yeilded some big hook ups. Few wahoo and kingfish in the kill box by 11am. Heading deeper to drop there electric reels in about 1200ft. The current was strong so we didnt have much luck holding bottom. We stock at it and come up with to yellow edge grouper. On was back in the capt advised us a few resturrants that could Cook the fish. Thats what we did. Boy was it onpoint. Unfortunalty we had to cut the day shorter but the boat allowed us to book a discounted bottom fishing tríp at night the following day! Highly reccommended . Love fishing and always enjoy our time out on the water with quality fishing .

Highly Recommended Fishing Excursion
We went offshore for a fullday of fishing early winter morning. Hour out we were catching up big Bonito baits. The crew put out the big baits... I thought to my self nothing was going to eat those huge baits.... 30 min later we we landed two wahoo! We were very intrigued to say the least. Great outfit and beautiful vessel. Highly recommend

This was a very pleasant experience. We caught a couple fish as soon as we reached our destination. My boyfriend and his dad got incredibly seasick and our captain and first mate were incredibly kind and accommodating and got us back to shore quickly. Highly recommend
