South Louisiana waters are bountiful with big, big fish. Bull Redfish and Spotted Sea Trout are the main catch, but you will get to test your grip against other species biting around. This charter is one of those highly bent on providing utmost experience - working super hard to put you on fish.

Captain Damien is a verified and licensed angler who has been fishing these waters for over 20 years. He has many hacks up his sleeve and will host you onboard his 24’ Custom Carolina skiff boat. He and six anglers who accompany him will be going around rivers and lakes, for a taste of backcountry fishing, and over reefs and flats.

His vessel is a brand new beastie built in 2017, and rigged with a powerful 150 HP Yamaha engine that can reach speeds of up to 40 knots. She boasts large casting decks, T-top to beat the heat, and an I-pilot trolling motor to give you more boost. She is equipped with top-of-the-line navigational gadgets, a live bait well, and an ice box.

Once you hop onboard of Redfish Charter Company, you will indulge in a variety of techniques: spinning, popping, jigging, fly fishing, drift and bottom fishing. Rods, reels, tackle, and lures are supplied onboard. The tackle is 7’ casting rods equipped with Penn Battle 2’s and 20lb braid. If you wish, bring your own fly fishing equipment.

Just grab your snacks to go with the drinks served onboard, and dress for the weather. Put on a cap, shades and sun protection.
Then, you are ready to go sight fishing over shallow grassy flats.
