Tempo Fishing Club runs fishing trips on the waters of North Mauritius. These fisheries are home to a wide array of colorful big fish, and you can try and get them! The Indian Ocean fishing can be super productive, and you’ll need a skillful crew by your side.
You will try jigging, casting, soft lures, or poppers around the small islands of the coast of Mauritius. The meeting point is in Grand Baie, a vibrant touristic village. You will then hop onboard a 26’ Apex Panga boat, powered by two four stroke Johnson engines of 115 HP. The vessel can cruise on shallow and deep waters.
The boat has 14 rod holders, 2 GPS units, a sonar, a variety of rods, reels, and lures. There is an ice box, a live bait well, and masks and tubes if you’re into snorkeling.
Skipper Tempo has years of experience, and knows the local waters. His top priority is safety, and will work to make your trip memorable. He can accommodate up to four anglers. Kids aged 10 and above are welcome to join. If prone to seasickness, please consult with the captain before the trip.
The target species include Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Spangled Emperor, Yellow Edged Lyretail, White, Yellow, Skipjack or Dogtooth Tuna, Blacktip Grouper, Sharks, Amberjacks, Bluefin Trevally, and GT.
The skipper will take care of the fishing permit, and will supply the fishing gear. There will be soft drinks and snacks, but you can bring your own food as well. Pack sunblock, shades, a cap, wear comfortable clothes and footwear, and a camera. Fishing affects environment, and the crew aims to protect it. So, some species must be released, and littering of any kind is strictly forbidden.
When ready, hop onboard, and enjoy the ride! Tempo Fishing Club will give their best to make your trip enjoyable.
