Captain Kevin’s Lake Erie Charters specializes in sport fishing for Smallmouth Bass, Perch, and Walleye. Join Captain Kevin in Port Clinton, Ohio, the “Walleye Capital of the World,” and discover the best of Lake Erie fishing!
Step aboard a 21’ Ranger powered by a 350 HP Mercury engine. This vessel comes equipped with GPS, Fishfinder, and a trolling motor. On board, you’ll also find a live bait well and all the fishing gear you need. This vessel is ideal for up to 3 passengers.
You can fish for Walleye and Perch all year round. From late June through November, you can also target Smallmouth Bass, the most commonly caught species in Lake Erie. Capt. Kevin offers a trophy Smallmouth Bass trip during these months as well – reel one in and hang it on your wall!
Captain Kevin’s Lake Erie Charters provides rods, reels, and tackle. All you have to bring is an Ohio fishing license and any food or drinks you may like to have.
When fishing for Smallmouth Bass and Walleye in June and July, you may pass into Canadian waters. If you plan on fishing for these species during that time, remember to purchase a fishing license and bring your passport with you.
Capt. Kevin provides complimentary pickup service from nearby accommodations, allowing you to sit back and enjoy your Lake Erie fishing experience from start to finish.

Caught our limit both days!
We caught our state limit (90 perch total) for 3 of us both days with Captain Kevin. He was punctual, knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. His boat was spotless and tackle all in excellent working condition. We would definitely charter Captain Kevin.again.

One of the best charters I’ve been on
Captain Kevin is one of the best charter captains I’ve encountered. My boyfriend and I caught our walleye limit with several large fish. I rank this trip right up there with my Lake Michigan salmon and Galveston red snapper charter. The boat and tackle were first-rate, and the captain obviously enjoys his work and others who love fishing as he does. This lady fisher and her man will return from Texas to Port Clinton to visit Captain Kevin again!
