Alabama Girl Fishing invites you to join them for a day out on the waters out of Gulf Shores, Alabama. This is a family-oriented charter company that welcomes avid anglers and first timers. If you want to enjoy a fun and productive time on the water, you have found the right place.
Captain Rick will take you out on his 24’ Kenner center console. The boat was built in 2015 with space and comfort in mind. She comes powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and can accommodate up to 6 anglers. Her top-notch navigational electronics include a VHF radio, a side scan, and many other professional accessories.
Alabama Girl Fishing has tailored a variety of packages to suit any angler’s specific needs. If you want to test the bite inshore, fish the calm waters of South Mobile Bay for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Spanish Mackerel, and many more. Or head out and fish the edge of the Gulf Beach. If live bait is available, you will be able to pull the shrimp net when you begin the trip.
The list of your potential catches includes Red Snapper (when in the season), Shark, Little Tunny, Jack Crevalle, and many more. Captain Rick has a special permit that allows him to catch and keep Spanish and King Mackerel from outside state waters.
You will be using light spinning tackle, suitable for all ages. If you want to get to the bigger species, the captain will break out the heavier tackle. All the necessary gear and tackle will be provided, as well as license. When you return to the shore, your catch will be cleaned and filleted, ready to jump straight into the frying pan!
Please note that tips are appreciated (20% of total trip cost is customary).
