Nomad is a custom-built 28’ Whitewater Open fisherman, powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki 4 stroke engines. This vessel boasts a 250-gallon fuel tank, two live bait wells, and a selection of classic fishing electronics by Garmin and Clariom. With a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots, this boat will take you to the fishing grounds in no time. Up to four passengers can enjoy a comfortable ride across the waves.
The waters of the Atlantic Ocean are abundant with some of the world’s most popular big game species, such as Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Sharks, and a variety of reef fish. Trips with Capt. Orly give you a chance to bottom fish near numerous wrecks and reefs in addition to trolling and kite fishing offshore.
Capt. Orly also offers a number of specialty trips, including reef fishing for beginners, Mahi Mahi fishing, and a Sailfish-Tarpon combo trip. Fishing for Mahi Mahi is an opportunity to land one of the tastiest game fish in the sea. On the other hand, pursuing Tarpon and Sailfish in one day is a unique experience—one that will earn you the bragging rights to two of Florida’s most prestigious prizes!
Nomad Fishing Charters include a fishing license and top-of-the-line gear, featuring notable brands such as Daiwa, Shimano, and Shakespeare, all spooled with premium line and terminal tackle. If you decide to keep the fish you catch, Capt. Orly will be happy to clean and bag it for you, just remember that it's customary to tip between 15% and 20% of the charter price for the captain's effort.

Had a blast! Hope to return!
Capt. Art was a pleasure to hang with. Despite it being a slow bite day, Art kept working the rigs and shifting us around to chase down some bites. We ended our half day with a really nice sailfish and an Amberjack landed, had to drop a grouper on the bottom, and lost a couple more (one to a shark). Capt. Art was super knowledgeable about the area and was dedicated to our happiness. He spent time teaching our teenager how to operate the kite fishing rig, and kept him busy the entire time, and the sailfish was a big dream catch for our son, so we really couldn't ask for more in a four hour trip.

3/4 Day - Offshore /Reef/Wreck
We caught mahi and barracuda
Orly was very nice and friendly. He had good knowledge about where to go and what to use to catch our preferred target species. We caught some nice mahi mahi, a barracuda and lots of reef fish on our trip. He even gave us a little extra time to make sure the kids fished their little hearts out. He also filleted and cleaned our catches for us and bagged them with some ice. We had a great time and got some great photos!

Half Day - Inshore/Near Shore
Fishing-obsessed kids had a blast!
Captain Art made this a great day for my two kids (9 and 7) and I. Our goal was to experience a new type of fishing (coming from Virginia where my kids are used to fishing lakes and ponds for bass, catfish, etc) and Capt Art delivered immediately. We found a spot that was rapid-fire fish caught by the kids for hours, including all new species to us: mangrove snapper, porkfish, grunt and Bermuda chub. Capt Art helped the kids when they needed help, while gauging their fishing skills well and giving them chances to learn. I highly recommend Capt Art and Nomad Fishing Charters!

Captain Art was great!!! Great experience!
Our captain worked great with our daughters and helped make sure they had a fun experience catching fish. We caught some small bait fish for fun then caught some large fish that made the trip even better. We caught a 20” snapper, black fin tuna and some barracuda!

Awesome sauce
What a great day! Another fishing highlight for my 12 year old nephew. Our captain was awesome, the weather was perfect and the fishing was spot on. Landing the barracuda was my nephews only conversation for the next 2 days! Recommend to anyone with teenagers who live to fish.
