Capt. Nikola and Filip are winners of the biggest big game competition in the Adriatic, held in Porec, by catching 27 tunas in one competition day, setting a new record in Europe. eFishent sets new standards in what big game competing means and what can be done.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Bluefin Tuna, Ray, Thresher Shark, Blue Shark, Albacore Tuna, Dentex, Mahi Mahi, and anything else that bites. You'll target your catch by trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your trip begins aboard Viga 22 central console with a capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome!. Some essentials to bring are snacks, drinks, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

I took my three boys out for our fourth morning tuna trip with EFISHent and it was awesome, as always. We've had bluefin bites on every single trip — unheard of in most any fishery. Nikola, Filip and the EFISHent team are incredible fishermen who love the sport, are great teachers on the boat, and an absolute pleasure to be around. On this trip we landed a beautiful 80kg bluefin tuna — check out the landing video. If you want a really good shot at landing a giant bluefin close to shore in a stunning Adriatic setting, these guys are your best bet. Fly into Venice, Trieste or Pula, explore the beautiful Istrian peninsula, eat incredible local food, and have a better chance at hooking a big bluefin than almost anywhere else on earth. Tough to beat!

We only had half a day free on our vacation and decided to split it between snorkeling island beaches and a fishing trip. Booking Matija’s 5-hour outing was the perfect choice — it never felt rushed and gave us plenty of time to enjoy both activities. Matija is an excellent guide: knowledgeable, friendly, attentive the whole time, and grew up in the local area. The boat was nice and comfortable too. The stories that Matija told about the size of Blue Fin Tuna make me want to come back to focus on that type of fishing. Highly recommend if you’re short on time but still want a quality fishing experience!

As a kid, I was 'wasting' my time fishing ponds around my hometown Pazin, which was the only 'sea' I could reach by bike. Then, 25 years ago, my father bought a boat which changed everything. Soon, I was competing on the national level, first as a diver (Croatian champion) and later as a spearfisherman. In 2005, I bought my first boat and started to fish only with artificial lures. As a 'lure man,' the wish for catching Tuna with the spinning rod was strong enough to keep me fishing 20+ days/month no matter the conditions, and finally, in 2015, the results showed up when I hooked 17 Tunas in one single day. I was lucky enough to fish with one of the best Tuna fishermen in the Adriatic Sea, to learn fast, and to enter the big game even faster by hooking up on 100+ Tunas in one season. The latest news is that I was fishing 3 continents in the last 7 months landing close to record or record fish in all three of them. Currently holding a record for biggest Dogtooth Tuna ever landed with rod and reel in Sudan.
