EFISHent Fishing & Tours – Rovinj 

I took my three boys out for our fourth morning tuna trip with EFISHent and it was awesome, as always. We've had bluefin bites on every single trip — unheard of in most any fishery. Nikola, Filip and the EFISHent team are incredible fishermen who love the sport, are great teachers on the boat, and an absolute pleasure to be around. On this trip we landed a beautiful 80kg bluefin tuna — check out the landing video. If you want a really good shot at landing a giant bluefin close to shore in a stunning Adriatic setting, these guys are your best bet. Fly into Venice, Trieste or Pula, explore the beautiful Istrian peninsula, eat incredible local food, and have a better chance at hooking a big bluefin than almost anywhere else on earth. Tough to beat!

We only had half a day free on our vacation and decided to split it between snorkeling island beaches and a fishing trip. Booking Matija’s 5-hour outing was the perfect choice — it never felt rushed and gave us plenty of time to enjoy both activities. Matija is an excellent guide: knowledgeable, friendly, attentive the whole time, and grew up in the local area. The boat was nice and comfortable too. The stories that Matija told about the size of Blue Fin Tuna make me want to come back to focus on that type of fishing. Thanks to Nikola’s extensive knowledge and many years of experience. He took us to the best fishing spots, and we caught plenty of fish. It was a fun, well-organized, and unforgettable experience. It was so good and funny going for the tunas , we each caught a tuna. All the fishing equipment was good and the boat so fast, perfect for tunas. The captain was so nice and it was like being fishing with friends.

I had an incredible time on our fishing trip with Filip. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable for everyone, from beginners to seasoned anglers. The boat was well equipped, and we caught a variety of fish, thanks to the guide's knowledge in finding the best spots. The scenery was stunning, and the whole trip was perfect. I was on bottom fishing trip with a friend and it was phenomenal. Boat is really well equipped with best fishing rods and live bait. Host is communicative and really knows the best positions for this and helps you to learn how to catch it and how to not lose the fish. Boat itself is really fast and mobile so we didn’t lose much time on travelling between positions. We caught a big dentex which was a once in a lifetime experience. 10/10 would recommend :)
