Choose Viking Coastal Charters for your next fishing adventure on the St. Marks River and Apalachee Bay! Captain Leif Lundquist will give you a personalized experience and professional guidance while fishing inshore for some of Florida’s most popular species.
Welcome aboard a 21’ fully custom Carolina skiff. This boat was designed with shallow waters in mind, giving you the ability to fish with stealth and dexterity. On board, you will find advanced fishing technology along with Penn and Shimano fishing gear. There is room for up to 4 passengers on board and children are welcome.
Capt. Leif is a professional fisherman with more than 20 years of experience fishing in northern Florida. He will use his expertise to help you target the fish of your choosing based on the best time, location, and technique.
You can join him year-round and target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Flounder, and more. Your options will vary depending on the season, with Cobia making an appearance in summer, while Bull Redfish and large Drum become numerous in the rivers during winter. Trips are available from St. Marks, Panacea, and Econfina.
While fishing with Capt. Leif, you may try your hand at various techniques such as trolling, drift fishing, popping, jigging, or live bait fishing. He can also take you gigging for Sheepshead, Mullet, and Flounder when you join him in the evening. You can keep your catch and Capt. Leif will clean and fillet it for you.
Viking Coastal Charters provides a fishing license and all the gear you need. Trip times are flexible based on your requests and fishing conditions.

Half Day Fishing with Captain Leif
We had an awesome fishing excursion with Captain Leif! He was prompt, knowledgeable, and flexible in looking at the weather to make sure we had the best experience. We all learned a lot about the local waters and had a great day on the sea. He was especially helpful to my 11 year old son, working with him on his fishing skills. My son caught the most fish, including a shark that we released back into the ocean. I highly, highly, recommend Viking Coastal Charters for anyone who wants to have an excellent day with family and friends fishing and enjoy the area!

Memories Made Scalloping
Booked a morning 4hr scalloping trip with Captain Leif .. He’s very personable and has an excellent Captain. Was very knowledgeable to the area about questions we had about the area, what kind of sea life we “could” encounter, taught us “first timers” how to snorkel & scalloping.. I’d say it’s similar to Easter Egg hunting but seaside 😂. We made our quota on lbs allowed per person.. He even helped us catch some too to make sure we had our limit. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone. He’s definitely an honest & reliable Captain that knows what he’s doing. Thanks again Leif for creating memories for my family & I.
