Steve Huber’s Guide Service offers drift boat fishing trips on the Chetco River and Smith River, Southern Oregon. Even though it only holds 15 miles of fishing area, the Chetco is one of the most favorite rivers for hundreds of anglers!
Your guide Steve Huber will take you side drifting roe and pulling plugs for the best Chetco and Smith Salmon and Steelhead. There are great chances to catch 50-pound Salmon and several Steelhead over 20 pounds. Before you make your first cast, Steve will guide you through the basics of how to use the tackle.
If you’re planning your fishing trip during the winter months, get ready to catch the hot Steelhead bite! From mid-December through March, you can find some of the best Steelhead on the whole North Coast. And if you want to test the waters in the fall, you can expect to reel in big Chinook. Trophy Kings can be caught anytime from September until late December.
But it’s not only about fishing on the Chetco and Smith Rivers. While fishing with Steve Huber’s Guide Service, you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views, redwood trees, and mountain canyons.
