While fishing the North Branch of the Susquehanna River you can target Smallmouth Bass, some of the hardest fighting fish known to anglers. We also offer trips to the St. Lawrence River Lake Oneida along with Cayuga Lake. These are world class fisheries and the St. Lawrence was recently voted the best bass fishing in the US. Depending on the time of year, you are likely to reel in Walleye as well. I use live scope along with Hummingbird 360 on both of my boats so you will also learn how to use these modern electronics.
You will target your catch using light tackle and a variety of techniques. Depending on the species, you might try your hand at spinning, jigging, or popping. Your guide Al provides top-of-the-line fishing gear, featuring the craftsmanship of Shimano, St. Croix, Rapala, Suffex, Keitech USA, and Zman. My husband Rodney and his friend were going to be at the LLWS and knew that Friday the 22nd was going to be a relax day with no ball games. I started investigating bass fishing tours. I’m sure other trips are good but I really liked Al’s informative website and his decades of experience. He was so responsive to my questions and I just had a good feeling about him. He provides everything but your drinks, snacks and sunscreen. He even sent a link for a fishing license. They had a ball! Rodney said that Al was informative, friendly and down to earth. He knew the “honey holes” and they caught about 25 good sized fish in only 6 hours. I feel like this was money well spent, they had a great time!

FIRST TIME FISHING WITH CAPTAIN AL AND IT WON`T BE MY LAST. GREAT PERSON AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE SUSQUEHANNA RIVER AND ITS HISTORY AND MOST OF WHERE THE FISH ARE, AND WHAT TYPES OF BAITS TO USE WHEN AND WHERE
We had a great time Lots of fish and great company

Thanks
Allen was amazing with providing tips and techniques to catching these Susquehanna Smallmouth. Very knowledgeable in the history of the River. Good conversation; Nice gear! Just an overall great experience! I will be booking future trips with Al, no doubt!

Good guys to fish with minimal snags and good casters. Were also on time and properly dressed.
