Your trip starts on a 24' Hewescraft aluminum fishing boat adequate for carrying up to 4 anglers. What a day…
Half day trip - Kootenay Lake on November 29, 20242 adults

My husband and i went out with Kerry Reed of Reel Adventures Sport Fishing, today November 30, for a 4 hour fishing adventure on Kootenay Lake B. C. Kerry's boat is clean, comfortable and well maintained. While very professional, he was also very pleasant company. We were thrilled to catch beautiful trout, and especially appreciated his stewardship of the fish population and his awareness of the need to protect the resource. Highly recommend this fishing guide

Half Day Trip with Captain Eugene
Half day trip - Kootenay Lake on July 10, 20232 adults

Captain Eugene was a friendly and interesting guide. We fished hard and only got one, but it was a great day and sometimes the fish just don't cooperate. We enjoyed the comfortable boat and learning about the area and the fishing from Captain Eugene. I would recommend doing this charter, but go in the spring instead of dead summer for more guaranteed action.

Reported catch:
Rainbow Trout (Steelhead)
Dolly Varden

Growing up in the Kootenays has its advantages. With almost every weekend being out camping with his family and fishing with his dad and grandparents, the owner and operator Kerry Reed became exposed to this outdoor lifestyle already as a child. He fished with passion as a kid and he still does. And so was Reel Adventures born in 1998. After experiencing the excitement of reeling in big fish regularly, he felt it was time to start sharing the excitement with others. Starting out with one boat and guide on Kootenay Lake and then adding a smaller boat for the Columbia River, he slowly started to build his business. Today, after years of enjoying the fishery, Reel Adventures has expanded the business and incorporated a whole network of boats and guides for a whole new network of lakes and rivers, as well as added the west coast Salmon fishery to its resume. With the added boats and guides, it can now offer corporate retreats and handle groups of any size.
