Chilly Water Fishing is a local, family-owned business based in Little River, South Carolina. They look forward to sharing a memorable day on the water with you and your family, from the shallow waters of the inlet to the deep sea offshore. Join him and start your weekend by reeling in a catch to remember!
You will fish aboard a 27’ Triton 2690 powered by two 200 HP Suzuki outports. This vessel comes equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, and top-of-the-line tackle. Capt. Bevan keeps a cooler with ice and bottled water on board, and you are welcome to bring your own drinks.
Born and raised on the coast of South Carolina, Capt. Bevan knows these waters well. He grew up fishing the local rivers, creeks, and inlets. Over the past 10 years, he has also become familiar with the offshore waters surrounding North Myrtle Beach. He strives to customize every trip to your expectations, no matter your age or skill level.
You are welcome aboard any time of year to fish the inshore and nearshore waters for a variety of popular species. Within 10 miles of shore, you can target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Shark, and Mackerel.
During summer and early fall, Capt. Bevan can also take you up to 40 miles offshore, where you will bottom fish for Black Seabass, Snapper, Grouper, and Amberjack. More experienced anglers can try their hand at vertical jigging for some of these species. You may also troll for Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, and King Mackerel.
Chilly Water Fishing provides a license and all the gear you need. You’re also welcome to keep your catch (within limits).

1/2 Day Trip AM – Nearshore
Perfect day on the ocean
My daughter and I have never been salt water fishing before and Bevan made the trip a success. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable, eager to please and made sure we had the best experience we could. Chatter on the CB radio revealed that other boaters were not catching much, but we went to spots he hand selected and we had success. We began by net fishing our bait. Once we caught a few smaller to medium fish using that bait, he kept them to be used as bait for the larger fish. Our time was up but because our goal was to catch a shark of some sort, he decided to let us stay out later to see if we could land one. About an hour went by and we found the sharks. My daughter ended up reeling in 2 decent ones and almost had a smaller one in the boat before it wiggled itself off. This was definitely worth every penny and the experience will want us to not only do this again, but we would do again with him! Weather was a bit cloudy and the wind was minor which made it very enjoyable to be out.

5 Hour Trip – Nearshore (PM)
GREAT DAY WITH CHILLY WATERS
Took the 1/2-day trip with Bevan on the Chilly waters fishing charter. Had 3 kids ages 9 -13 and 2 adults. The captain was great, and he put us on fish right away. Great trip! Great day!
We had the best time with Chilly Water. Bevan was very accommodating and ensured that we had what we needed the whole day. This was our son’s first time on a boat, and he had lots of questions, Bevan was very patient and answered all of his questions. Overall great day, would absolutely book again!

HOOKED UP!
Captain Bevan was the best! We were one of the first boats out and it paid off. As soon as we hit the open water and let the lines out we couldn’t reel them in fast enough. Captain Bevan kept a 17 year old, a 6 and 9 year old happy the whole time which made the day. I’ll be booking with him again for sure.
