Bluewater Fishing Adventures
Bluewater Fishing Adventures welcomes you out for a day of great fishing among the beautiful nature of Simcoe County, ON. Lose yourself in the untouched nature of the Great Lakes tributaries, fishing all day without another soul in sight. Just you, your guide, and a whole river full of big Salmon and Steelhead.
The local rivers offer some fantastic opportunities, and your guide, Joe, will take you along whichever one is yielding the best fish at the time. Joe has spent the last 35 years fishing the area’s many winding waterways, giving him the skills and the experience to get you on some great catches.
On half day trips you will be walking the banks of the river and wading in for some hands-on fishing in different spots along the way. This is a great opportunity to lose yourself in the wildness of the area. You will set the pace, and will have plenty of room to try out and perfect your technique.
On a full day trip, you will drift the river in Joe’s 13’ Scadden pontoon. This will let you cover more ground and get even deeper into the wild. You will still have plenty of time to take things slow, though, and can stop along the way to fish the banks and take in the surroundings whenever you want to.
You will be given a choice of light spinning tackle and fly fishing gear, with an additional choice of bait or lures, depending on your preference and the species you are going after. Joe will teach you the many tricks he has learned over the years and get you fishing like a pro, whatever your skill level at the start of the trip.
What Bluewater Fishing Adventures offers is a chance to get away from the noise and stress of modern life and back to the important things in life: A rod in your hand and a fish on your hook, with not another person around for as far as the eye can see.
