6 Hour Trip (PM) on June 8, 2020 • 4 adultsWe spent a glorious day on the boat with Captain Adam Mastrangelo fishing for striped bass. I had previously fished last year using heavier fishing tackle with wire lines. Catching fish was not that exciting using this technique. I had spoken with Capt Adam about wanting to use light tackle for this fishing experience and he obliged. We went out chasing the birds on the horizon and the blitz of schooling stripers in engaged in a feeding frenzy on the bait fish. It was extremely fun to use the light tackle rods and a variety of lures. The captain was well versed on the variety of lures that the fish were hitting on. After catching numerous school stripers 15 - 25 inches we then caught live mackerel to be used as bait for larger striped bass. We fished in a variety of areas off points along the shore. We all caught fish that day and had a fabulous time out on the waters of Marblehead, MA. The boat was extremely comfortable and versatile and we quickly got to our fishing grounds in under 15 minutes. I would highly recommend fishing with Captain Adam Mastrangelo and his boat in Marblehead.

8 Hour Trip on September 18, 2018 • 2 adultsJust past the hustle & bustle of Boston is the peaceful Village Street Dock in Marblehead, MA where Adam launches. I am from a small town in Texas and I appreciate how Adam made me feel at home in this far away big city. Adam is everything you need in a fishing guide. He was easy going, knowledgeable, very good at what he does and one of the nicest people I have met. Fun to fish & visit with he put me on those big Stripers. I caught about 15 of these big suckers. It was almost just as much fun catching the bait (Atlantic Mackerel). Our first plan was to go after Pollock & Haddock offshore but the remnants of Hurricane Florence blew that plan off course. His versatility allowed us to swap targets staying closer in & I had a great time. Adam has the right location, the right equipment, the right frame of mind, & the right backup plan. Thanks Adam, I loved it.

Had a great day out with Captain Adam. It was my son's birthday gift and he made the day perfect. We caught quite a few fish, got some tips and had a blast. I would absolutely recommend Adam to anyone looking for a good day of fishing.

Captain Adam has been fishing since he could walk and truly loves helping people catch fish and showing them the waters that he is so proud of. Adam is a graduate of Marblehead Highschool, Salem State University and has been a full-time LEO since 2005. He has also held his certification as a first responder since 2005 and received the CPR / First Responder award from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2017. He got his Captains license in 2014 and his Master's license in 2015, which is when he was able to finally follow his calling of charter fishing. You are always in VERY good hands with Adam as the safety of his customers is always his first concern. You will find his enthusiasm, knowledge, and love for the ocean bar none.
