With charters running throughout the day and into the night, you will always find the perfect trip to suit your schedule at a price you can't beat.
Spend your day fishing the local bays for Flounder, Trout, Redfish, and more. These are the area's top resident species and promise great fights and delicious table fare. Throughout the year, Tidalist Charters also offers various specialty trips, targeting Shrimp, Sheepshead, and Cobia right when they are at their peak.
You will be spending the day aboard Captain Robb's 24' Cobia center console. Built in 2001, this sturdy, reliable vessel can cruise at well over 50 knots. She can carry up to four anglers to the best fishing spots without wasting precious fishing time. The boat is equipped with GPS and fishfinder so you don't waste any time once you get there, either.
All trips come with quality tackle for a range of techniques, with spinning, jigging, drifting and bottom fishing making up most of your trip. You will be given a selection of lures and a livewell bursting with bait to make sure nothing can resist your hooks. At the end of your trip, all your catch will be cleaned and filleted, ready to take home and enjoy.
The waters of Mobile Bay, Fort Morgan, and Dauphin Island are full of awesome fish just waiting for a hook to drift their way. So climb aboard with Captain Robb and grab yourself a freezer-full!

Took my three boys on a half day trip with Captain Robb, and he did everything he could to make sure we had a good time and caught fish. He took us to several different spots, and if one spot wasn’t productive, he would change out bait, lures, or methods to get us some bites or move on to another spot. We ended up catching a big mess of white trout, be we also caught a couple of specs, and he did his best to put us on some redfish and flounder. We did catch two redfish, but they were babies, so we threw them back. Maybe next time we go out there we will catch their Mama and Daddy. Just an all around great guy as well. Makes good conversation and makes you feel comfortable. Very good fishing coach too. Vey patient and encouraging when teaching you a different way to fish. Cleaned all our fish for us and we had ton of meat for a fish fry. Would definitely go out with Robb again!
The was very knowledgeable about the area. He taught the best techniques to fish and was very attentive. He moved from spot to spot to help us find the best place to fish. We caught plenty of White Trout and the recipe he gave me for fish tacos was delicious. Will definitely book again.
Beautiful sunset, so we fished in dusk/dark without the blazing sun! Caught catfish, spotted sea trout, croaker, and one red drum! Capt Robb is a knowledgeable angler and great story teller. Boat was clean and ran smoothly. Gear was ready for a variety of techniques. Highly recommend Tidalist.
Captain Robb was very communicative from the start, letting me know about time and location in advance, along with various launch point options depending on weather and proximity to where I was staying. We had a great day catching various types of fish at different spots, he cleaned the catch and packed it for me with ice. He had everything we needed and more, along with a great personality and excellent knowledge on the fish and the area. Can’t wait to go fishing with him again the next time I’m in the area.
We loved our 4 hour inshore fishing trip with captain Robb! My boys haven't stopped talking about it! We all love fishing and have fishes in lakes all of our lives, but this was the kids first time saltwater fishing and they are now hooked! Captain Robb was so patient and helpful with the kids and made sure we all caught fish at each stop! We can't wait to come back and have already booked again with him!! I highly recommend to anyone take the trip and make the memories!!
I've spent the greater part of my life fishing both the freshwater systems of the southeast and the saltwater of the Gulf of Mexico. My passion is sharing my experience with customers and providing them with opportunities to get out and connect with some of the most exhilarating fishing trips the Northern Gulf of Mexico has to offer.
