Captain Matt Myers is an experienced fisherman who is prepared to help you land some of the most sought-after species in the state. Depending on the season, he might take you anywhere along the Willamette River, Columbia River, or the waters of the North Oregon Coast. Picture yourself aboard a 26’ Alumaweld. Powered by twin 150 HP Mercury engines, this craft boasts a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. She comes equipped with all safety gear and navigational electronics. Both fast and functional, this boat is also comfortable. As many as six passengers can enjoy a spacious deck and comfortable seating with armrests.
Depending on the season, Capt. Matt will help you target Salmon, Sturgeon, Steelhead Trout, or Walleye. You can target several different Salmon runs from spring through autumn, including June Hog season and the famous Buoy 10 Fishery in August. Steelhead fishing picks up momentum in fall, whereas Walleye season peaks in late winter and spring.
On the other hand, you can enjoy fishing for Sturgeon year round. While this species is usually catch-and-release, it makes for a memorable fishing experience. Capt. Matt even offers a custom Sturgeon and Salmon fishing trip so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

Salmon Fishing
Full Day, Switched mid-day from Salmon To Sturgeon
Matt is terrific. He lets everyone fish exactly how they like to. As a woman, I have a "don't touch my rod ever" rule. My 82 year old Uncle and my cousin are both accomplished fly fishermen in high mountain streams. My uncle really struggled to land his 3 surgeon and Matt had the insight not to intervene. I almost did but it would have deprived him the joy at landing them himself. Matt's a good man, knows his water and fish (Don't just sit there. Ask him fishing, river, history questions when it gets slow). The best equipped and spacious boat I've ever chartered. Well done
