Quepos Sportfishing welcomes you to Quepos to spend the day enjoying the incredible fishing, which has made this town a household name among anglers the world over. With a choice of trips to suit any schedule and a range of equipment to suit any species, you will be sure to find the perfect trip for you, whatever that might be.
Spend a fun day fishing for hard-fighting Roosterfish, tasty Snapper, and a variety of other table and game species. This is a great way to get in some awesome fishing while enjoying Costa Rica’s stunning scenery and warm, clean waters.
Looking for something more exciting? Head offshore for the ultimate blue water battle, fighting Blue and Black Marlin, Pacific Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Yellowfin Tuna. Even offshore, you have options, with ¾ and full day packages allowing everybody to fight the world’s best pelagic predators.
You will need a very special vessel to take on all these fish. Luckily, this is exactly what you will get. The “Raven” is a 38’ Bertram Express Sportfisher, which was completely restored in 2017. She can carry eight guests in comfort and safety, with enough tech and equipment to bring in whatever the Pacific Ocean can throw at you.
GPS and fishfinder will sweep the depths and get you locked on the best spots for your chosen species, outriggers will help you target fast-moving fish, and the boat’s fighting chair will put you on level footing with even the fiercest of blue water beasts. Her livewell will keep your bait fresh, and she even has tuna tubes to help you work your way up to the top of the food chain.
Whatever you choose to do, you can rely on The Raven’s experienced captain and crew to get you on that fish of your dreams. All Quepos Fishing trips include food and drinks to keep you going and everything you will need for the fishing itself. All you have to do is turn up and enjoy some of the finest fishing grounds on the planet.

Full Day Trip – Offshore
Fantastic boat, captain and crew
I cannot recommend this charter enough! We were a total of 5 adults and three kids, 7, 5 and 5. The littles had never been out on the open ocean. We went for tuna and caught 6. Each of the kids caught one. The mates were fantastic in the assist. The last tuna was 100 pounder! We called it quits after that. The crew cleaned and prepped the tuna for us and we even had a few slices of sashimi on board. Great local lunch, snacks, fruit and plenty of drinks. Nice clean boat, too. Captain Marcos, Estaban and Santos. Go fishing with them!

Full Day on Raven with Marco, Kenneth, and Daniel
Awesome time on the water! Captain Marco and his crew of Kenneth and Daniel were top notch. All three were highly knowledgeable and explained all questions very well. Four of us did a full day on calm water with fantastic weather. We found a huge pod of a 1000 plus spinner dolphins that were following bluefin and completely surrounded the boat. Are one newbie on the boat caught his first sailfish as well! The 2nd mate Daniel served delicious food and fresh fruit in the middle of the day. The refitted Bertram was well setup and a great size for 4 anglers. I can't wait to go back to Costa Rica in December for another great time with Quepos Fishing. Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience!!!!
We had the best day! We caught multiple sailfish, tuna and saw more dolphins than we’ve ever seen in our life! The crew attended to every detail, helping our young kids catch multiple fish and were constantly asking if we were comfortable! This was my second time to book with the Raven and when we come back we will definitely book them again. Thanks for another awesome day.

Awesome crew, awesome catch!
We went on a 3 day trip, the complete crew was very knowledgeable and customer oriented. I have been on many charters in the past, but this charter exceeded all of my expectations. The entire crew were focused on making this charter the best experience possible. We have already booked our next charter on the Raven! Highly recommend!

The Raven is a very comfortable boat to fish on. It has a large, cushioned seating area for its guests. We noticed many of the other boats were minus the cushions. Also, the bathroom is very spacious. The boat is older, but very well taken care of and the crew keeps it spotless. As for the crew, the Captain, Marcus and Mate, Kenny were on top of it. We were told that fishing was slow, however due to their hard work and perseverance, we managed to land one trophy Dorado and a very nice Yellow Fin Tuna that put up a great fight. Two got away. We had an absolute blast and the day flew by. I highly recommend investing in this experience.
