Based out of the community of Tamarindo Beach, Capullo Sportfishing aims to provide a memorable experience on the northwest Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The seas around Tamarindo are famous for being one of the prime spots for world-class sportfishing in Central America.
Capt. Manuel Leal and First Mate Cheyenne Rosales have been fishing together for 20 years. They consistently provide expert service and will work tirelessly to ensure you have a fun time. They are happy to cater to the individual desires of their clients and excel at instructing beginners, both young and old. They will show you how to fish and land your own catch, and can also work with veteran anglers to plan the perfect trip.
Their boat is a 36’ Topaz offshore sportfisher that runs on a pair of 320 HP Caterpillar Diesel engines. Freshly restocked and refitted in 2017, she’s ready to take up to 6 anglers out for an adventure! Both fast and comfortable, why settle for anything less than the best of both worlds.
The trip packages on offer are geared for targeting Sailfish, Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Snapper and many others. If you manage to catch Tuna or Mahi Mahi, Capt. Manuel can use it to prepare some finger-licking Sashimi.
You’ll have the very best fishing tackle and equipment at your disposal included in the trip price. Complimentary drinks and light snacks will also be waiting for you on board, with sandwiches being served on longer trips. This part of Costa Rica is a great place to be fishing all year-round, so come on down for a taste!
