His boat is a 25' center console boat by Captain Shark's, and it's equipped with a 115 HP Yamaha engine. It has all the necessary equipment needed for a safe and productive journey, which includes a GPS device, fishfinder, and a live bait tank.
Taking a reef fishing trip with Captain Chip will have you visiting the second largest coral reef system in the world, Belize Barrier Reef. Among the fish you'll be targeting are Wahoo, Grouper, Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and Amberjack.

Local guides that shared island history and facts. It was a super fun trip!
Weather was terrible, but determination by the captain was there! We caught a few fish, not as many as hoped but the captain did his best to get us on some.
We trolled inside the reef for part of the time and caught a few fish then went to a spot to fish for snapper. We caught plenty of snapper.
Caught one big barracuda. Chip worked the fishing really hard.
Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience after our trip. I accidentally left my AirPods on the boat — something I later confirmed through video footage. I also tracked them using the Find My app, which showed them moving around San Pedro after the trip. At one point, Find My even led us directly to the captain in town, which felt like more than just coincidence. I shared this information with him, offered to come retrieve them with a tip, and tried to handle everything respectfully — but I was met with slow responses, deflection and no real effort to help recover the item. Accidents happen, but the lack of follow-through or accountability was really frustrating. Based on how this situation was handled, I wouldn't feel comfortable booking again with this captain.
