Tim Chandler is a North Alabama native who has lived there his entire life. He was introduced to fishing by his father, who taught him how to catch Crappie and Bluegill on the Tennessee River. When Tim was 13, he was allowed to operate a small tri-hull boat with a 25 HP engine in Roseberry Creek on Guntersville Lake all by himself. He discovered the excitement of catching Bass – something that his father never had the patience to fish for. Tim spent almost every weekend camping in Alabama and learned every little nook and cranny. When he was 17, he joined a local Bass club and a few years later, Tim purchased his first Bass boat. As the years went by and he won local fishing tournaments, Tim realized it wasn’t fulfilling the competitive desire he had. Tim moved on to bigger competitions like US Angler’s Choice, BFL, and many more. With his success, Tim decided to become a full-time guide on North Alabama’s premier lakes – that’s how Tim Chandler’s Pro Guide Service was started.
