He holds a record for Giant Snakehead (26 Ib) and specializes in freshwater fishing. Mr. John Ang has been fishing these waters for more than a quarter of a century and he gladly shares that vast experience with both veterans of the sea and first-time anglers.

Your adventure will start in Bangkok — John will pick you up from your hotel and then drive you to the lake for eight incredible hours of fishing fun. He can take large groups, but 2-4 anglers are the sweet spot.

He'll work his hardest to put you on brag-worthy trophies, such as Giant Snakehead, Giant Mekong Catfish, Giant Siamese Carp, Arapaima, and Featherback. Your weapon of choice will be heavy tackle and John will teach you all the tricks and hacks for landing the biggest catch. Please note that he supports a strict catch-and-release policy.

He has the best professional gear in store for you, by top brands such as Shimano. All tackle and fishing licenses will be included in the price, along with delicious traditional Thai food and refreshments. John's wife is his first mate and she'll be there to help you with everything you need. GoPro videos and photos are also something you can expect!
