Join Saltwater Spoiled Fishing Charters for a fun and exciting fishing trip in areas like Lemon Bay, Gasparilla Sound, Boca Grande, and the Gulf of Mexico. Captain Ron Jones has been an avid fisherman his whole life and will provide a unique experience for veterans and novices alike.
You will be fishing aboard a 25' Carolina Skiff center console boat that is powered by a 150 HP Suzuki engine. Apart from all the standard safety and navigation equipment, the boat has a livewell for bait as well as a wireless trolling motor, which is a great help with easily spooked fish.
Southwest Florida has great fishing spots, and Captain Ron will show you what can be found in these inshore and nearshore waters in and around the Gulf of Mexico. A typical trip will have you fishing for Redfish, various Grouper, Snapper, Trout, Snook, Amberjack and more. Sharks can also be targeted on request.
Rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price of the trip, and Captain Ron will clean and fillet anything you catch after the trip for your convenience. Water is also provided, but you are free to bring along any other drinks or snacks you might want to have. A pair of polarized sunglasses is highly recommended for the best experience.

We started the day "catching fish" then moved to searching for the "catch of a lifetime". We experienced a fun lunch break together. Captain Ron was persistent at searching for that "big catch". We hooked what we thought was a 10-12 foot hammerhead, that we had seen circling the boat earlier in the day. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Half Day Trip - 2:00 PM on March 24, 2025 • 6 adultsThanks, Captain Ron for showing us a great time around Boca Grande, the fishing was good, we caught a lot of different species and Captain Ron was a great guide with lots of local knowledge. You can tell he cares greatly about the area and the wildlife, not only the fish but the Pelicans and the other birds and the dolphins. When the fishing slowed and we had our fill he took us on a nice boat ride through the area and showed us around.

While we were fishing the FWC wardens stopped by to check that our boat and captain were legal. They were very courteous and did a thorough check of our catch and the boat. they found that everything was fine. Next time we go fishing it will be with Captain Ron.

The captain was very knowledgeable on the fish and on where to find them and the area. I highly recommend him. He’s a fun and funny captain. Captain Ron really showed us he cares about what he does. We watched him after the trip catch two pelicans and remove hooks from them. He’s not only a good captain but a good person with a good heart
