Tim May Fishing Guide Service - Lake Fork 

Tim made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. He had everything we could possibly need and was incredibly patient, which we really appreciated. He made us feel comfortable and confident, and thanks to him, we caught some really nice bass! We’re already looking forward to coming back for another trip.

Very knowledgeable, knew I was fishing on my own the rest of the week and help me get on some patterns that would help me catch fish all week. Great Guy!

We did a full day fishing trip on Lake Fork with Tim. Despite the weather conditions (cold front and substantial rains the day before) Tim put us on fish, one being 7+ lbs. Tim is an all around nice guy and we enjoyed our fishing so much. He knows how to find the fish! Tim does not fish, he spends his time making sure everything is perfect for you! Snacks and drinks provided and his boat and equipment is top notch. Thank you so much Tim for making my husband’s birthday fishing trip awesome! You will see us again no doubt!!!!

My son and I arrived to DFW late morning and drove straight to Tim to catch some bass. He guided an incredible half day. Within an hour my son and I both landed personal best bass! 7lb 9oz and 6lb 13oz. Caught lots of other fish, different techniques. Tim was great with the boat and managed some tricky high wind and cool weather seamlessly. Would highly recommend!

Tim knew where to find the fish and was totally at our disposal for the two days that we were there. Was flexible as far as what hours we finished and gave us some great fishing tips. We will definitely use Tim next time we go to Lake Fork. Lake conditions were terrible, but we still had a good time. no lunkers this time but maybe next time.

Saturday It started out as a cool morning. Was down to 38 degrees causing the lake temps to drop a bunch. These Florida Bass do not like a big change in temperatures. So it made for a hard day catching fish. Captain Tim is a very knowledgeable guide. More important, where most guides quit a full day at 4:00 in the afternoon, Tim fished with us until 7:00 that night. No extra charges. That was awesome. On Sunday, we started at 11:00. We wanted to go to church in the morning. The winds were fierce today so Captain Tim took us to a different lake to get us out of the wind. The wind made it hard on the fish. We caught only two today, but fun was had by my son and I. If you are looking for a solid guide, than Tim May is your man.

Captain Tim was a great guide, and a great guy to spend a couple days in a boat with. I took a solo trip to Lake Fork to get away for a bit and fish a lake that I’ve wanted to for years, and I couldn’t have been happier that I hooked up with Tim. He worked hard all day long to put me on big bass and was a pleasure to be around. You can tell immediately that he loves what he does, and he truly cares about his clients experience. I just left and I already can’t wait to go back to Lake Fork, and will definitely be fishing with Tim May. Tim is a great guide. Fishing was tough for most fishermen but Tim put us on the fish. Caught around 24 fish. Tim taught me a lot on bass fishing that I didn't know. Took my fraternity brother and we all got along very well. Recommend him whether you are experienced or new at bass fishing. Got a full day of fishing. I will be calling Tim for future trips at Lake Fork
