BKK Fishing Tour – Snakehead Pond Fishing 

It was great to meet and fish with Jon. Clear communication throughout the process, door-to-door service from my hotel, and had all the gear we needed and then some (extra poles for each scenario rigged and ready to go, so no fishing ime lost over snags, broken lines, etc). The fishing was pondside with a stocked supply of fish, so the only thing I had to do was listen to Jon, learn which lures, baits, casting methods, and action in the water was necessary to catch each kind of fish--four big species, and each had different techniques for success. Jon took the time to explain each, demonstrated what to do, and then it was on. Had a great day, and there was food and drink available from the kitchen next to the pond. Nice man, too, not just a great guide. Recommend this to anyone in town for a visit, who wants to dip out of work or take some time on vacation to catch some local species with a local expert.

what an amazing time with captain john from bkk. he picked me up from my hotel in bangkok and we headed to the lakes. caught all of the major species and john had all the gear pre-loaded and ready to go! had a great time and his knowledge of the ecosystem made all the difference as many others fished and were unsuccessful. all the fish fought hard and the experience was so much fun! highly recommend if you have a half day in bangkok and you love fishing.

We just wrapped up an incredible day of fishing, and I couldn't recommend John enough as a guide. He truly knows his stuff and put us right on the fish from start to finish. ​The variety of species we managed to catch was outstanding! We landed pacu, a challenging and fun fight, a couple of impressive snakeheads, a powerful catfish, and the highlight for me— barramundi. Fishing guide John was excellent! He helped explain all the fishing packages, easy booking very friendly, and knowledgeable. We caught every species of fish available. John taught me all the techniques and tricks to make sure we caught a lot of fish. Above and beyond service and great photography to top it off.
