The captain has all the equipment ready, so pick your day and start your next fishing adventure in Thailand!
Your lake fishing will take place from the land so there won’t be a need to use a boat. Your group of up to 3 anglers in total will be targeting Barramundi, Catfish, and Snakehead. The technique you can expect to use to attract these interesting species is light tackle. Due to the fishing regulations, all the fish you catch has to be released back into the water.
During the trip, keep in mind that smoking as well as alcohol is not allowed.
Captain John will provide you with all the needed rods, reels, and terminal tackle as well as lures. He also takes care of fishing licenses, provides lunch, and supplies you with drinks kept in an ice-box to make your experience even better. There’s nothing you should bring on your trip. Just be there on time to depart and prepare for lots of fun.

Booked the fishing tour for my girlfriend and I, not only was our guide really patient and willing to help my girlfriend basically learn how to fish but was very passionate about it as well. He has us running from one pond to other to make sure we caught as many fish as possible! Would recommend to anyone wanting to have an amazing fishing experience here in Thailand.

If you want to catch a snakehead, come find John! I joined his snakehead 1 day trip and went fishing in the fishing pond near Bangkok, and nobody there were other people fishing snakehead as well but nobody could catch anything until John worked his magic to land me 4 and a big catfish! There’s no way I can catch a snake without John’s knowledge! This is the benefit from paying a local who knows the trick! Also his package will include hotel pickups, water and lunch, so you don’t have to worry about anything! I will definitely come back for his other trip fishing in the wild if I have time.

Capt. John Ang is originally from Singapore and has been living in Thailand for the past 25 years. He and his crew are stationed and operating out of Bangkok. Fishing has always been the captain's passion and he loves meeting anglers from all over the world. He specializes in freshwater fishing in Thailand and loves to introduce visiting anglers to native Thai fish such as Giant Snakehead, Featherback, Giant Mekong Catfish, and Giant Siamese Carp. Currently, Captain John is the IGFA world record holder for Giant Snakehead, which weighed 26 Ibs.
