The Sea Cross is a 45' custom rigged Hatteras Sportfishing Yacht, originally built in 1979 and restored in 2020. It has A/C and this vessel is prepared for some hardcore game fishing and is equipped with a flybridge, Tuna Tubes, and a fighting chair. Capt. Rafael can take up to six passengers on board, with room for four to fish comfortably.
What really makes your time aboard this boat memorable is the captain and crew. Capt. Rafael and his First Mate do their best to cater to every customer's needs. They are great with anglers of all skill levels, including children. Rest assured they will show you how to target your catch using the most effective technique so you can bring home something unforgettable.
The average catch includes Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Kingfish, Grouper, and more. You are likely to spend most of your time trolling, though you may try your hand at other techniques such as jigging, drift fishing, or kite fishing.
Trips aboard the Sea Cross include a fishing license and everything else you need. Capt. Rafael provides brand new, top-of-the-line gear, featuring the likes of Penn, Shimano, and Daiwa. Depending on the species, you may keep your catch and the crew will clean and fillet it for you. Please note that a tip of 20% for the First Mate is customary.

Full Day Trip on February 10, 2025 • 2 adultsMy husband and I came from Texas to fish in Florida. Captain Ralph and First Mate Mike were very friendly and worked hard to put us on fish. My husband caught a 52” Wahoo, and Mike helped make the arrangements to have the fish mounted. We caught a wahoo, kingfish, barracuda, and 2 bonita. The weather was great, unfortunately the fish weren’t biting but Captain Ralph worked all day and we eventually found some. We had a great time and look forward to fishing in Florida again.

We caught a yellowfin and black fin tuna, the yellowfin is rare around the area. Our guides were great and have a depth of knowledge and experience. It was my boys’ first time deep sea fishing and they loved every minute of it and want to do it again.

3/4 Day Trip on March 5, 2023 • 4 adultsCaptain pete was awesome! He took us about ten miles off shore out of haul over inlet. (If you’ve never heard of it look up some YouTube videos, well worth the time)Things were a little slow to start, as expected otherwise it would be called catching, right? But Deckhand Ben and Captain Pete put in some work and found some debris. From that moment on we were catching fish left and right! We had a great day from that moment forward we wound up with 4 wahoo and a handful of small Mahi Mahi. Needless to say the next time I’m in Miami I’ll be looking up the sea cross and getting in touch with Ralph, who will pair you up with a great crew!

After booking the sea cross from reading reviews only, i can say we were a bit skeptical going in blind. but we had a truly amazingly day and landed 7 !!!!!!!!! Troy and Cptn. Pete went above and beyond all day, provided us with a wicked day, tons of knowledge not only on fishing but on the city as well! they shared tons of knowledge with us, made sure our youngest passenger (10) was also comfy, included and had fun! these guys are the real deal, and if we get back to miami we will most definitely be back for another day on the wan̈er with them ! The boat was cozy, clean, and well set up!

Boys trip to Miami, first time for a couple, so we chummed up the water with last night drinks, everyone caught fish although the late oil caught up with us so we threw in the towel after 2 hours. Captain put us on the fish quick everyonewas satisfied with their catch! If we fished longer we would have filled the fish box up. Great time and crew!
