Ihre Tour beginnt auf einem 23' Carolina Skiff Boot, das bis zu 6 Angler aufnehmen kann. Es wird von einem 115 PS Yamaha Motor angetrieben und erreicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 40 Knoten. Es verfügt über hochwertige GPS- und Echolot-Systeme für eine sichere Navigation. An Bord befindet sich ein Hälterungsbecken, in dem Sie Ihre Fische und Getränke während des Ausflugs aufbewahren können.

Sie angeln mit leichtem Gerät und haben die Möglichkeit, Ihre Fähigkeiten beim Grundangeln, Spinnfischen, Jiggen sowie Poppen unter Beweis zu stellen. Sie dürfen alle gefangenen Fische behalten und mit nach Hause nehmen, um köstliche Mahlzeiten zu genießen. Alternativ können Sie die Fische auch einfach wieder ins Wasser zurücksetzen. Denken Sie daran, dass das Boot kinderfreundlich ist – bringen Sie also gerne Ihre Kinder mit und haben Sie noch mehr Spaß auf Ihrem Ausflug.

Die gesamte Angelausrüstung wartet bereits auf Sie, wenn Sie am Boot ankommen. Kapitän Mason stellt Ihnen Ruten, Rollen, Angelgerät sowie lebende Köder und Kunstköder zur Verfügung. Sie müssen sich auch keine Gedanken über Angelscheine machen, denn auch darum kümmert er sich. Das Einzige, was Sie vor der Abfahrt mitbringen sollten, ist eine Kühlbox mit Getränken und Snacks oder ein Lunchpaket, falls Sie hungrig werden.

We had an awesome experience fishing with Captain Mason and would absolutely book again. From the start, he was friendly, professional, and very attentive to everyone on the boat. He took the time to explain things, answer questions, and make sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. You can tell he is very knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to fishing and knowing the local waters.

What really stood out was how hard he worked to keep us on fish. He was constantly paying attention to conditions, moving when needed, and making sure we had the best chance possible to catch something. Thankfully, it paid off because we caught fish and had a great time doing it. He was patient, encouraging, and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping everyone have a successful trip.

The entire experience felt relaxed, organized, and fun from beginning to end. Whether you are experienced or completely new to fishing, Captain Mason makes the trip enjoyable and stress free. We left with great memories, some great catches, and already talked about booking another trip in the future. Highly recommend Captain Mason to anyone looking for a great fishing charter experience.

Captain Mason was great. The weather was great. Fish weren't biting.

We had a great day on the water and Captain Mason was a great host.  We tried several fishing spots to try and catch fish, but it was early in the season, April 3rd, and the fish weren't biting.  However, Captain Mason moved from one spot to another, every 15-20 minutes to give us a chance.  The last cast of the day, we caught a Black Drum.  Technically, it wasn't the last cast because Captain Mason extended our trip an additional 20 minutes hoping that one Drum meant that there might be more.  Sadly, it wasn't a school of Drum, just the one.  Anyone who has fished knows that there will be days like these.  We enjoyed it even with one catch for the day.  I would book again with Captain Mason and would recommend him to anyone else who is looking for a charter from Carolina Beach. We had 3 people in our group, and that felt like a comfortable amount for the size of the boat and not crossing fishing lines.

Great captain!

Had a great day fishing. Didn’t catch a lot, but not because of the lack of effort by captain Mason. Recent cold front had the fish a little off. Still caught a couple of nice reds and a good flounder. Lost a nice blue. My 10 year old son had a great time and Mason was as a great captain.

He caught bait for the day before our 7a mtg time and met us 30 mins south on Oak Island where we were staying. We worked for fish the majority of the day on some great looking spots catching 6-8 fish, first trout of the season and some keeper reds. We never stayed on a spot longer than 20 mins if the bite was slow. We actually ran out of bait  with 45 mins or so left in our trip so we made a bait run close by netting 20 or so mini-mullet to fish the last spot. It was a spot we’d fished an hour or so before but the tide started moving a little heavier. We returned and smoked 7 dandy reds in the last 20-30 mins of our trip. I have fished all over the south with guides for 35 yrs and Mason is at the top of the list. Great trip.  A+ hard-workin’ guide right here!

The captain was absolutely great. He put us on some sheepshead and black drum first and then we transitioned to reds. My son and his buddy really enjoyed the trip. I will definitely be booking again when we return to Carolina beach next year. Thanks for a great trip.
