My wife and two boys decised to vacation to florida and check it out, and we wanted to introduce them to “ocean” fishing since they’ve never been. we booked the 4 hour excursion and although we weren’t deep sea fishing, we had a perfect trip and caught 13-14 differ t tyles of fish and my boys had a blast. On top of that, Jeff was an awesome Captain (Friendly, Professional, knowledgeable, etc) and to top it off we basically got an awesome dolphin excursion at the same time because when we would come accross them, Jeff would point them out and even got one of them to ride our wake to where rhe dolphins were jumping in and out of the wake while we were driving. needless to say our objective to catch fish, have a great experience, and to have a fishing trip memory for the books was accomplished. Thank you Captain Jeff!

Captain Jeff was an absolute professional from start to finish. We arrived 15 minutes early, and he was already there waiting for us with everything prepared and ready to go. The boat was fully stocked with plenty of bait, quality fishing gear, and refreshments, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience right from the start. The boat itself was clean, stable, and very comfortable, and within just 20–30 minutes of leaving the dock, we were already fishing. Throughout the trip, Captain Jeff took us to multiple productive spots, giving us plenty of opportunities to catch fish. We landed snook and catfish, and even had a baby shark on the line! Unfortunately, just as I reached for my phone to record it, the shark leaped out of the water and shook the hook free, a memorable moment we’ll be talking about for a long time. What really stood out was how great Jeff was with the kids. He was patient, friendly, and always quick to help re-bait hooks, fix tackle, and make sure everyone was having a good time. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we decided to extend the trip by an extra hour, and Jeff was more than happy to accommodate us. Overall, this was an outstanding fishing experience. Captain Jeff’s professionalism, knowledge and friendly approach made it so everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable day on the water.

This was thebfirst fishing trip with a charter that one of my sons and nephew had been on. Captain Jeff did a great job showing them how to put bait on for saltwater fishing, and what to do once the line was in the water. We caught plenty of snook, red grouper, triggerfish and a puffe fish. he also suggested some spots to fish in from the shore the rest of the week. We had a great time and will definitely contact Jeff next time we're down in Longboat Key.

Had an absolutely fantastic day with Captain Leonard. Pick up location was easy to find and we were in the fish within 30 minutes. First part of the trip was in shore and caught Snook, Jack, a flounder and Pinfish which we used later. After the in shore fishing we headed just off the beach and got into a great school of Spanish Mackerel and Kings. Landed more than 10 Mackerel and 3 Kings. had a large King (on the Pinfish) that ran out a ton of line but broke off. captain Leonard was attentive, a great conversationalist and knew his waters. will join him again next time we are down.

Captain Jeff was fantastic — hands-on with all five of us, including three teenagers, helping everyone reel in a great variety of fish: grouper, bonita, grunt, sand perch, and more. Beautiful day on the water in great company. The cherry on top was that he whipped up a custom song dedicated to us — such a fun, memorable touch. Highly recommend booking with Captain Jeff!

We had a blast! We caught so many fish immediately on the beginning of our trip. We kept enough sea trout to have a family meal and released the rest. We caught a variety fish, including ladyfish, red drum, and snook. When we finished fishing the captain took us on a tour of the island. We even stopped at a sandbar to find sand dollars. The captain was very friendly and helpful. It was very easy to communicate with him and set up our fishing trip. I would recommend this fishing charter to anyone!

Jeff is an excellent fishing captain. Took my two boys on their first ocean fishing trip. Jeff put us on a ton of fish. Even went the extra mile and chased down some schooling lady fish and mackerel right at the end of our time and we landed about 5-6 fish in like 5 min. What a way to finish a fun day. I highly recommend Jeff.

Captain Jeff was awesome and did a great job start to stop. He was the man with a plan. We caught a ton of fish across 15 species and took a pile of tacos with home for dinner. Would recommend, would do again. From families with kids to the serious guys, Jeff will have you covered!

My son and I went out for a fishing trip today with Jeff. He was great with my son and very knowledgeable- we were on the fish for hours and caught grouper, hog fish, snapper, grunt and jolthead porgy. What a great morning. Recommended without hesitation.

Capt. Jeff took my family and I out and we were catching fish quick! We caught many snook and then decided to go hunt for some sharks, Jeff was amazing at helping us try and catch one! We also saw some dolphins and a manatee. It was a great day on the water!
