    Great Fishing!!

Captain Terry was awesome! He was so knowledgeable, experienced and patient. He helped us with everything and made catching lots of big keepers so easy and fun!! He also taught us knots, techniques for future fishing and shared some great fishing tips. He fileted all the fish and reccomened a great local spot that cooked it for us. It was delicious and love our memories with Capt. Terry

    Great for beginners and experienced!

Captain Jack was amazing! We caught at least 6 different species and when the weather forced our plans to change, Jack had a great fallback plan! We will definitely use him again!

Snook are prized inshore game fish known for strong runs and sharp gill plates. Anglers love Snook fishing for the challenge, the sight of a silver flash under the mangroves, and exciting strikes in shallow water. These fish thrive in warm, protected bays, flats, and backcountry creeks, which makes trips close to shore fun and accessible.

You can catch Snook with spinning, baitcasting, or fly fishing gear. Live shrimp or small bait fish like Mullet and Pilchards work well. Many anglers also use soft plastics, bucktail jigs, and shallow-diving plugs. Look for moving water and fish the edges of mangroves, docks, bridges, and sandy potholes. Cast upcurrent and let your bait drift naturally toward the fish.

Expect a stealthy, hands-on style of fishing. Most trips happen at first light, late afternoon, or at night around lighted structure. The tackle is light, the water is shallow, and the fights are fast. This suits beginners and experienced anglers alike. Wear sun protection and polarized sunglasses to spot fish on the flats. Bring a hat, non-marking shoes, snacks, and water. A captain will provide quality tackle and coach you on proper handling.

Regulations for Snook vary by location and can change. Always check local fishing license and permit rules before your trip. Confirm whether the season is open, if harvest is allowed, and what size and bag limits apply. When release is required or preferred, handle fish with wet hands, support the belly, and return it quickly.
