Right out of the gate the fish were snapping. The bite was fast then steady for the rest of the trip. Crankbaits and spoons were the food of choice for these toothy table fair. Fishings Continues to be HOT!!

Had to work for them a bit. But we battled the flat calm seas and a mayfly hatch and put a nice box of walleye together. 20 walleye made the hooks with several others that got away and some throw backs mixed in.

Ohio came north and put an absolute clinic on! They were beating on these fish as soon as we started setting rods and didnt quit till they had there limit. And the captain even got 5. Way to put it to em! Flicker minnows on weighted steel behind inline planer boards filled the rack for this couple!!

Memorial day was a great day to fish. Weather was astounding. The bite was slow at times but steady. We caught a bunch of fish unfortunatly they were just under the legal size limit of 13 inches. But 9 of them tasty fish made the cut and are now goingvto make a great dinner! Flicker shads and flicker minnows trolled behind planer boards is how we had success.

Started off little choppy with N/E winds. And as the day went on. it got nicer out and we picked away at some good quality fish and put a really nice box together.

Walleye fishing is good right now and going to just keep getting better. Shallow water and flicker shads were putting em in the boat today.
