nice family from the midwest came down this am. We caufht wvery weird species in the harbor from gar to blue runner with a few dozen seatrout as well. Weather is starting to cool off a bit but the bite is not.

We did a 4 hour this morning before the sun got too high in the sky. We chased some bait schools around a flat, picking jacks and trout off the pods of bait they were pushing around. Spent the second half of the morning working a drop off from a grass flat into some deeper water. The trout were hanging tight to the edge and we put another dozen trout to the boat before the sun got too high and we beat it back to the ramp. Top baits were a white 4 inch paddletail and a lime green NLBN. both on 1/4 oz jig heads

Great trips the last few weeks, tarpon, snook, spanish mackerel, QUALITY. trout. We even pulled in a tarpon and a snook before we left the dock last week. Transitioning into summer fishing is bringing hot weather: We are fishing early am’s and coming in when that sun gets high in the sky when the bite shuts off.

Tough bite on the full moon! these guys stuck it out and found some nice snook, all the snapper we could catch and a beautful gator Trout.
