Covered a lot of water today from Lafitte all the way to Bay Jimmy and the Grand Isle area. Fished marsh drains, points, bays, and channels with both live and artificial presentations. Water quality ranged from stained to fair, but we never found a consistent bite. Saw very little bait activity and no concentrations of feeding fish. Ended the day without a quality redfish, trout, or black drum. Hopefully the pattern improves once the winds settle and the fish reposition.

The nighttime bowfishing bite has been heating up around the Lafitte marsh. We’ve been seeing good action on redfish, black drum, gar, and flounder in clean moving water.
