The ocean doesn't always hand over its keys on the first try. Today, the wind tried to bolt the doors of our glass skyscraper, making bait tough to find and delaying the prologue of our story. But at Mathis, a delay isn't an obstacle; it’s a tactical shift. Captain Gerson read the pressure and decided to find the penthouse through the northern face, where the water welcomed us with unexpected calm.
The "dance" began with the raw aggression of a Roosterfish—young, but fighting with the heart of a titan. What followed was a masterclass in skill from our guests. At Mathis, we set the stage, but the client holds the pen: they took full control of the rod to tame a high-caliber Needlefish. Although the Red Snapper chose to remain a mystery for the next chapter, the look of awe at the sight of the Roosterfish reminded us why we sail. We don’t sell tours; we deliver the victory of conquering the sea with your own hands.
Daily Log:
1 Roosterfish (Aggressive).
1 Needlefish (Hooked by the guest).
Vibe: Tactical mastery, customer skill and honesty to the sea.
Highlight: The triumph of technique over the wind.
