As we get towards the middle of July we are getting more and more King Salmon and Coho Salmon showing themselves. Over the last couple of days we have been fishing in 80-110ft of water about 2 miles from shore. Our catches have been between 6-11 fish the last couple trips. The numbers should keep climbing as we get further into the month. This time of year is the best time to find them trophy King Salmon.

With the cold water around right now we aren’t having to travel to far out to find the fish! This morning was a prime example of that. We fished about 1-3 miles from the river mouth today chasing the big kings that are staging to run the river. These big fellas put up a great fight! They are big and angry and are super fun to catch!

The spring kings are here! Fishing the last couple days has been hot and heavy. Good numbers of King Salmon are showing up and are hungry. These are some of the best fighting and eating fish we see all year! Its looking to be a great may!
