RockenReel Sportfishing reporting excellent non stop reel burning action this morning on our first 3 hour charter only 15 minutes into it. 10 minutes from Dana Point Harbor and right in our back yard ( the point) the pulses are racing right now! Epic 25-40 pound Yellowtail ( Amberjack) in 40 feet of water 200 yards from shore. Calico Bass, Pacific Barracuda and nice fighting Bonito everywhere - were surrounded right now with bird diving and fish boiling on the surface. We have a six hour charter after this 3 hour where we will target big Tuna and Dorado (Mahi- Mahi) as well. The Mako Shark fishing only 10 minutes from the point is excellent right now which give you a chance to land the Shark of a lifetime that nobody will ever forget. RockenReel Sportfishing reporting great inshore local fishing! Today I had a few 3 hr charters that we caught tons of nice Bonito, calico Bass and Pacific Barracuda right out front 15 minutes from the dock! Lots of fishing time, less travel time! Winning combo.

RockenReel Sportfishing reporting a nice mako so far today, lots of Barracuda, Bass and Bonito on our Three hour charters today so far. We are on a six hour right now catching lots of Bass and half way throuh. We caught a nice Mako Shark so far half way through the six hour. Excellent fishing because of the epic 73 degree water temperature in front of Dana Point Harbor!
