RockenReel Sportfishing reporting excellent fishing in 60 feet of water right here in Dana Point. This is simply the best fishing we have ever had- literally catching 25 pound yellowtail in our front yard! Tons of other species are wide open bite as well this morning!! RockenReel Sportfishing reporting a great afternoon bite with non- stop action. Yellowtail right here in Dana Point because of the epic 2026 El Nino. Water temp dropped to 69 degrees today - super clear water- but the fish did not care and are biting on every cast! We are slaying big 20lb yellowtail 15 minutes from the Dana Point Harbor entrance. - Captain Steve
