Captain Chris & mate Derrick were knowledgable, professional, and friendly. We had our first bite w/in 5 minutes of getting the baits in the water, and had a spectacular fight w/ a bounding striped marlin as the pinnacle of the day. Super personable crew- it was great to learn about the island and the fishery on our first time fishing Hawaiian waters. 5 Stars across the board- we will be back!

Adam and Steve worked hard to get us fish. Had 4 hookups but only landed two. Rough seas but felt safe in their hands. Wasn’t sure why we spent time catching live bait then never used it though. Would highly recommend.

As for the bait i cant speak for our crew , sometimes its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. If the conditions and situation isnt right for live bait then we wont use it.
