This was our very first time going fishing, and we honestly knew absolutely nothing about it. We took our two sons, aged 5 and 8, and my husband, and Captain Nate made sure we had the absolute best experience! It was so exciting catching salmon, especially for the kids. Went out on the ice of Lake Michigan with Captain Nate. The fishing was exciting from the moment I arrived, and we caught big trout all day. Captain Nate was an extremely nice guy, and answered any question I had about the fishing process, the fish themselves, or the waterway we were fishing on. Captain Nate is a very knowledgeable fisherman and got us on to the bite right away. for fun he asked if we wanted to get some jigging and using his two live scopes. we did and finished off our limit! he has a nice size boat that is open and clean for fishing with good and well maintained equipment to use. Back at the cleaning station he was a master with the fillet knife and made quick work of the cleaning. We will definitely be coming back!
