We arrived via cruise ship, and planned a fishing outing for me and my son as an excursion. Fergus coordinated plans with us in advance. Fergus is a very experienced fisherman. The first time we dropped our fishing lines, we hauled in 4 mackerel each. Never caught as much mackerel but great to be able to catch a variety of different fish including Ballon Wrasse that we’d never seen before. Fergus is a great host and supplies sandwiches including his very own brown bread. For our break he brought us to Roberts cove a beautifully calm hidden gem to rest and have lunch. We gifted this experience to our father for Christmas and he had the most incredible day. He said that Fergus was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely accommodating on their trip. They had a fantastic day and caught loads of fish. He absolutely wants to book again for the Autumn.
