Our second year going out with Ben and Eric. Could not have asked for a better day on the lake. While the walleye bite was off, lake trout and salmon made up for it. The crew worked incredibly hard to get us on the fish and we enjoyed their company and good humor. They know how to fish. Will be back again later next summer.

I selected this charter based on the web description. We were not disappointed. Of course, as in any fishing trips, patience is required, Captain Ben did everything humanly possible to bring us to fish. While we waited for the fish to do their part we enjoyed friendly conversation with the Captain and his mate. It was a slow yet productive day. River Valley Charters are great. The captain stayed in regular contact with me leading up to day of our trip.They work extremely hard to catch fish. They want everyone to catch fish and constantly adjusted tactics as the fishing conditions changed throughout the day. They are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Would recommend this boat to anyone looking for a fishing charter on Lake Ontario.
