Off Shore with Captain Andy
We almost stopped this trip when we saw the boat. The 23ft center console had one 200hp engine with no restroom and our trip was 2 couples. We decided to give it a shot. Captain Andy tried his best but for our experience level it was disappointing. We spent $1400 for 8 hours off shore but only ended up with our poles in the water for about 2.5 of that. We lost 4hrs to the ride because the single engine was slower. Captain Jay should advise anyone who books a trip the size of the boat, size of the crew (no first mate), and whether there are facilities on the boat. Women fish too! We could have done more fishing with a first mate but where would he have been, since 5 adults on a 23ft was pretty full. We have been out many, many times and we know there is no way to control what you catch, but only coming home with about 1.5lbs of fish was disappointing for the $1400 price tag. Beware and ask questions before you book
Tammy.... U booked an 8 hr trip We fish off the coast of Georgia it takes 2 hours + to get to deepwater regardless of boat size. Our listing plainly states there's no head on this boat. I'm very disappointed that you would not mention that you guys caught over 30 fish including red snapper Triggerfish and Cobia, unfortunately not a lot of keepers that day... It is our goal for all customers to catch a lot of fish and bring home fish if they so desire. If you are highly experienced the way you say you are you understand that some days are better than others. Captain Jay
