The captain seemed like a good guy and fisherman. It was just me and three young kids for an offshore trip. The captain was very flexible and was able to adjust plans to get us on the fish. Some of the kids got a little sick due to rough weather and he adjusted and made the best of it, offering different options. What a great experience all-around. Wicked Hooker will be our go-to for deep sea fishing in the future. Captain Jim is awesome and his boat is great. He prepares everything for the guests and helped educate during the entire trip. No complaints at all. We caught a ton of different fish and he prepared everything when we finished….we’ll be cooking fish all summer!!! Thanks Captain Jim for a great time and looking forward to going out again soon!!!!

we had a very nice trip. We were looking for some harder fighting fish so even though the seas were less than desirable, captain Jim took us out deep enough to not only put some fish in the cooler for the grill but put us on some good fighting amberjacks and an unexpected hookup with a very nice shark that attacked one of the the amberjacks, which was the highlight of the trip. An experience that my oldest son ( the one fighting the shark ) will forever remember. Both of my sons are ready to go... Mehr

Captain Jim put us right on the fish everywhere we went. We had a great day fishing and caught strawberry grouper, vermilion snapper, porgy, triggerfish, white grunt, and amberjack.

My two boys (14 & 10YO) had a 7 hour trip with Captain Jim. He got us on fish right away and we had a steady bite all day. We caught Black Sea Bass, Trigger Fish, Sucker Fish, Red Snapper, Cobia and also hooked into a huge shark. My boys and I had a blast and would highly recommend Captain Jim for your fishing excursion.
