My son and I had a great morning on the water with Capt. Javier. He recommended starting at 5:30 AM to improve our chances, caught fresh bait, and worked hard the entire trip to keep us on fish. We ended up hooking 7 tarpon and landing 3, including one that was too big to bring into the boat. The ones we lost were on us, not the captain. Tarpon fishing isn’t easy, but Capt. Had a great couple of trips with Captain Santiago and one of his other captains. They both were professional witj great knowledge of the fishery and worked hard to put us on Tarpon and snook and we caught both species ans had great opportunities to land fish and caught some nice ones. They are professional and personable. We had a morning trip an afternoon and night trip! Highly recommend them, and remember fishing is always just that, its fishing.

Captain Santiago Javier took my 5 year old son and I out. He was patient, on time and knowledgeable about the area. He asked if we wanted to leave an hour later to time the better bite, and left it up to us. There were several other boats out and I didn’t them land or fight a fish. Even on a tough day for everyone else, we were able to hook into 6 tarpon over 4 hours and put a couple in the boat. Definitely recommend.

aptain Javier Santiago Aldrey is as good as guide you could ever ask for.  He spoke excellent English so it was very easy to communicate.  He was extremely knowledgeable and a very skilled fisherman.  We landed 5 good sized Tarpon, and I lost another 3.  Tons of action and it was an absolute pleasure speaking with Javier during the trip.  A++ highly recommend!

I would highly recommend using Javier.  He was focused on making sure our daughter caught fish while also teaching us about the “world of tarpon fishing.”  I’d highly suggest him.
